I have a good amount of experience with many different breeds of chickens from working at numerous farms. I think one of the biggest obstacles for people is, "what do chickens eat?".

Once you understand how to properly feed chickens, it's really enjoyable to raise them. I'll teach you everything I know.

I helped to create a fairly large-sized no-dig market garden at a farm I lived at for about a couple of years in Florida.
We built about 26 beds that were mainly 30 feet long. That's a lot of beds to keep planted at all times!
It took an incredible amount of work to build that garden, but I learned what to do and what not to do.
One of the most important lessons that I learned is - now listen carefully!
You need to have quality compost to create nutrient dense soil in order to grow nutrient dense foods.
Otherwise, you will always be in the weeds so to speak. That's because you will have more pest and weed pressure with deficient soil.
Growing food can be a challenge, but it's so worth it once you find out how deficient food is at the grocery store.

My journey began when I was about 18 years old and still continues to this day now that I'm 64. Although, I know a lot more than I did then.

My health challenges started during my early teenage years.
I'm pretty convinced that it was all of the junk food that I ate as a child that resulted in lots of mercury fillings being put into my teeth.
Cutting down on junk food and removing those toxic fillings was just the beginning of my journey back to health.
When I got pregnant and had my daughter I knew that I would have to figure out the truth about nutrition or it was going to be a nightmare.

I began to experiment with many different types of diets to figure out the truth.
The pinnacle of my journey was when I decided to become a CNA or certified nurses assistant for a few years.
What I saw during those years not only disturbed me, but made me even more determined to learn the "real" truth about nutrition.
That's when I truly decided to never end up sick and trapped like what I had witnessed. That pledge is what pushed me into discovering the best way to consume nutrient dense foods.
Look for quality over quantity when it comes to choosing your foods. It is best to contact companies and ask questions about what animals were fed or how plant foods were grown.

For example: buying meat that comes from cows grazing on pastures all day instead of factory farmed cows that eat toxic feed.
You have to look beyond, "a great sales price" or "buying in bulk" these days.
What's the point of eating a lot of meat or anything else that wasn't raised or grown properly?
Nutrient dense foods should supply nutrients that your body craves and needs without adding toxins that your body will have to get rid of by the way.

Many people are into fasting these days, to give their bodies a break.
